I have been involved with the Lebanon County, PA Relay For Life for over ten years. Our never ending search for new and interesting fundraisers lead us to the American Traditions Basket Company.

Trying to find quality products to sell as fundraisers has always been a problem. We try to find high quality products that have a reasonable cost. After doing some internet research in the fall of 2004, I contacted Dan Houser at American Traditions. American Traditions is able to customize baskets with brass tags for any type of event.

In 2005, our first basket sale sold over 100 bread baskets. These baskets were customized with purple weave and purple liners for Relay, protectors, and custom brass tags engraved with "HOPE" 2005. This year we chose a muffin basket with purple weave and liner. Our tag reads "BELIEVE" 2006. We have currently sold 75 baskets and are still taking orders!!

American Traditions has been a great company to work with. The baskets are high quality and the cost is reasonable. We are making approximately 25% profit on each basket, which is great for any fundraiser. We are able to keep the selling cost reasonable while still making a great profit for the American Cancer Society. American Traditions has also included a custom order sheet with our orders free of charge. This form includes all our contact information as well as a photograph of our current basket. The company has a quick turn around for these custom baskets also.

I am very pleased with the workmanship and customer service I have received from the American Traditions Company and look forward to more basket sales in the future. We have had 100% satisfaction from our buyers, many of whom are return buyers again this year.

I would like to recommend that American Traditions Basket Company become an approved vendor for the ACS. I think this would be an excellent fundraiser for any Relay For Life site.
